A pilot water treatment unit in Québec!

NISKAE CANADA is taking big steps! A first pilot water treatment system has been set up at a pipeline producer’s facility, in Granby, Québec.

Surface treatment added up to the list of applications NISKAE is able to address. Our laboratory developed a specific chemical formulation to treat water generated by the rinsing of metal pieces that were, painted, welded and soaked in acid baths.

The pilot unit is being tested by our client for 2weeks now, and it might not leave the city of Granby anytime soon! Thanks to the exchange of information between manufacturers in that area, two other industrial professionals said they were interested to learn more about our systems and asked for an access to a pilot station as well.

The outcome of the after treatment results is very positive, with a very clear separation of the aqueous phase, and easily dehydrable sludge that does not obstruct the filtrating bag
