Description and operation of NISKAE pH correction units
NISKAE offers a range of SDPH plants in different configurations.
Batch treatment units allow intermittent treatment of water which can be either acidic or alkaline. NISKAE units will adjust the pH on a scale of 6 to 9 before releasing the water to the relevant discharge point.
For higher flow rates, NISKAE has designed single, two or three-stage continuous-flow pH correction stations, depending on the nature of the effluent encountered.
NISKAE offers two versions of pH correction units, ECOMAX and SMAX, for different levels of capacity and automation. An SDPH unit can be fitted with the following equipment to suit the configuration of the industrial site concerned:
- One or two water lifting stations
- A buffer tank for wastewater storage and/or continuous flow pH control
- A reactor for pH neutralization in successive batches
- A clear water storage tank equipped with a booster pump to return water to the process
- A lifting station for discharge to the sewage system.
Our SDPH stations meet the “NISKAE design standard”. Made entirely from polypropylene plastic, SDPH units are compact, skid-mounted, automatic and easy for operators to use and maintain.
Like all NISKAE water treatment plants, SDPH pH neutralization units are fully automated and benefit from all the technological advances made by NISKAE engineers in terms of PLC control and communication via our own VPN solution.
