Waste water treatment units

Waste water generated by the production of packages containing glue, varnish and ink

This producer of high end packages for a prestigious pastry confectioner generates 100 to 200 litres of wastewater per day. The water comes from the washing process of his tools at the end of the production shift, and contains paint, glue and varnish residues.

Goals & Needs

Our client wants a wastewater treatment system that would allow him to treat the polluted water and be able to reject it to the sewer. The system must be compact and easy to use.

Offer & Realization

NISKAE set up a manual SW100 wastewater treatment system. The water generated by the washing processes falls directly into a 400L collecting tank, placed under the washing station. A transferring pump send the waste water directly to the reactor tank of the SW 100.

The SW100 treatment unit is equipped with a control panel, a treatment reactor of a 100L capactiy, a filtering basket. On this unit, the draining valve, is manual.

Once the treatment cycle is done, the emptying of the reactor is done manually by opening the draining valve. The water falls directly into the filtering basket, the sludge generated by the flocculation is retained in a filtering bag, inside the basket. The clear water is sent back to the sewer, the sludge is sent to destruction with the regular waste.

Results

  • The set-up of the system was done in less than half a day, which allowed the client to rapidly start using it and treat his water independently.
  • The implementation of a SW100 water treatment system considerably reduced the cost of water treatment for the company.
  • A very short treatment cycle time, and a system that needs only a few minutes of intervention of the operator : the SW wastewater treatment system is easy to use, and quick to operate.
Control panel of the SW100 unit
The control panel of the SW100 is very easy to operate: every push-button represents a different stage of operation: “filling of the reactor”, “treatment”, “emptying”, “rinsing”.
