A paint manufacturer installs a NISKAE pilot unit to treat its rinsing water

NISKAE installs a pilot unit at an interior paint manufacturer. Very user friendly, the equipment has a suitable treatment capacity, requires very few reagents and allows to discharge treated water to the sewers.

In France, an interior paint manufacturer for large retailers generates rinsing waters from paint vats. Already equipped with a water treatment device, the manufacturer has significant functional difficulties. The competing station is complex and requires the use of several reactants, has a limited processing capacity, requires the employment of a full-time technician and does not reach the value parameters to discharge water into sewers. The manufacturer called us to investigate if we could provide a simple and profitable solution.

Preliminary expertise has identified the needs and constraints related to the treatment and discharge of rinsing water. To understand the technology in a real situation, we proposed the renting of a pilot unit during 4 to 6 weeks.

The installed pilot unit has proved to be a success! Very simple to use, the equipment has a suitable treatment capacity, requiring very few reagents and allowing the discharge of treated water to the sewers. In addition, the water treatment station successfully tested a new type of drip table, which is compact and adapted to smaller volumes. Our customer, now satisfied and confident, is ready to upgrade his equipment according to our recommendations. We will tell you a lot more in a future article!
