A latest-generation microstation and a suitable coagulant/flocculant formulation to ensure responsible wastewater management
In France, a manufacturer of modular partitions has 2 lines of decor gluing. Throughout the day, both gluing machines apply BOSTIK white glue on laminated surfaces. The gluing machines are cleaned at each end of the process with hot water, which generates 600 to 800 L of wastewater daily. The discharge of heavily polluted water was done into natural environment. Concerned about his corporate image and the ecological consequences, the industrialist approached NISKAE, seeking a solution for the treatment and the recycling of wastewater that is both sustainable and economical.
We have installed a semi-automatic SW200 water treatment microstation, which is perfectly adapted to the daily flows of wash water. Wastewater samples analyzed in the laboratory allowed us to formulate a coagulant and flocculant reagent specifically adapted to the contaminants that were found. The installation includes;
- A wastewater storage tank that can collect up to 1000 L of wash water; The tank is equipped with an agitator to prevent any decantation.
- A reactor associated with two filtration bags for the physicochemical treatment of water and the sludge processing by coagulation and flocculation;
- A clear water storage tank with a capacity of 1000 L equipped with an electrical resistance for hot water and a temperature control at 40-45 degrees Celsius;
- Powerful pneumatic pumps associated with water level control systems.
